Preliminary Acquisition (Document Review & Negotiation)
The preliminary phases of a commercial real estate transaction are perhaps the most important. Future litigation is often associated with this phase because most parties enter this stage of the transaction without the benefit of an attorney. Some of the documents connected to this all too important step are the following:
- Brokers' Agreements: The agreement with a commercial real estate broker to list a commercial property for sale.
- Commercial Offers to Purchase: The preliminary documents exchanged by a prospective buyer and seller that delineate the preliminary terms and conditions of the sale such as the parties to the sale, purchase price, property description and conditions of the sale.

Our firm represents both buyers and sellers on residential and commercial real estate transactions. We take pride in helping our clients understand the process of property conveyances from an offer to purchase all the way through a proper closing and deed recordation.
If you are having trouble making your current mortgage payments and are considering selling your property, we can discuss your options with you and help you make an informed decision. These options may include loan renegotiations with your lender, short sales and passing deeds in lieu of foreclosure. |
